About:

Jazz Drummer by night. Software developer and consultant by day. I am part owner of a software development company, DLS Solutions, Inc. We build software systems for companies that make laboratory and field instruments for the analytical and bio-chemistry industries. It is a great job, but not as much fun as music. “I don’t want to work. I just want to play on my drum all day…”

Mark, you guys were awesome! Your practice shows in your playing – very constant timing, I hope I get to play with you one of these years.

Hi Mark,

I tried to answer a few days ago but don’t think my response got through! I’ll learn to use this site yet! But anyway, yes, I’m still very busy with gigs and recording sessions. Hope you’re keeping busy too!

Hi, Mark – I think it will take years for me to get that comfortable on upright!! And, the Reflections gig needs the electric for many tunes. I’ve done a couple of combo gig where I brought BOTH – talk about equipment overload…yikes. But, it’s the way to go for me!!

Yes, I’ve been working on the upright for the past three years…it’s coming along, but as you saw on Thursday, Reflections is clearly an “electric gig.”

When you go to The Blog in your control panel click Write a Post and there are instructions at the bottom of the page. Basically go to youtube and copy the address of the video and embed it in the body of your blog.
